Just my speculation, but I've followed girli for quite a while and to me this video looks like it's documenting her journey as a creator in some ways. She was dropped by her label just after her album came out, hence why she didn't have music come out for a while. I think that she's come to accept this and realize that many labels don't want her if she's not going to be a pop star and she wants to focus on her self expression even if that means labels don't want her. Just my ideas.

She kind of explains that in this song... Basically starting over after being dropped. That must've hurt... I loved Amanda Palmer's approach to the same situation. Her TED talk is amazing on this topic.
