Lyrics below:
Why don′t you fool me, feed me, say you need me
Without wicked games
C'mon and hold me, hug me, say you love me
And not my dirty brain
Why don′t you fool me, feed me, say you need me
Without wicked games
C'mon and hold me, hug me, say you love me
And not my dirty brain
I got one Alabama return
That'll take me far away from you
Cos when you take me in your arms
I turn to slave, I can′t be saved
So I got my cappuccino to go
And I′m heading for the hills again
Cos if we party any more we'll start a fire
Of pure desire
Closer
Your mind′s flying blind
With your head and your face getting red
And your heart beats closer
You fall on your knees
And the geek at your feet says you're neat
And the beat gets closer
You die for the thrill
At the kill and your heart′s had its fill
But he still creeps closer
You want it to freeze
But you're weak, in too deep and the beat,
And the beat gets closer (closer)
Closer
Closer
Closer
We give it up
And then they take it away
A girl′s got to zip it up
And get her head in the shade
Baby, we give it up
It's just a matter of time
Before all the heavy stuff
Comes back to bite your behind
You can't mistake my biology
The way that we talk
The way that we walk
It′s there in our thoughts
The magic number′s in front of me
The way that we talk
The way that we walk
So easily caught
You can't mistake my biology
The way that we talk
The way that we walk
It′s there in our thoughts
We're gonna cause a controversy
The way that we talk
The way that we walk
So easily caught
Why don′t you fool me, feed me, say you need me
Without wicked games
C'mon and hold me, hug me, say you love me
And not my dirty brain
Why don′t you fool me, feed me, say you need me
Without wicked games
C'mon and hold me, hug me, say you love me
And not my dirty brain
You can't mistake my biology
The way that we talk
The way that we walk
It′s there in our thoughts
The magic number′s in front of me
The way that we talk
The way that we walk
So easily caught
You can't mistake my biology

Yes, not even Phil Spector could something as clever as this. Ironically Xenomania were influenced by Phil Spector as well as Motown. For a long time I used to wonder why British Artists always said Tamla/Motown but in The UK that's how their Records were released.

Oh here's another fun fact. As you know when she auditioned to be in Girls Aloud Nicola Roberts Sang "River Deep Mountain High" which was one of the Last Records Phil worked on. She also as you know won The Masked Singer. In the US Kandi Buress won who was a member of Xscape a popular Female R & B Group and she also sang River Deep Mountain High. She is also a Real Life Housewife Of Atlanta, and she wrote TLC's Comeback Hit "Scrubs" as well as "There You Go" for Pink.

Some people think that if somebody is famous and has money, then bad things don't happen to them, or they should be able to cope with it. It is sad, breast cancer that has spread to the base of her spine and possibly her brain, at only 39 years old. Let's hope she recovers. Looking back, these guys were very lucky in the sense that they stayed with Xenomania throughout the whole time they were together. When The Supremes lost Holland-Dozier-Holland in 1967, their success on the Pop Charts began to wane. Their last Number one was Someday We'll Be Together that Janet Jackson would later sample for "If".

You have to remember that with the exception of Cheryl none of them had solid dancing lessons. Also, practice makes perfect, they were still wet behind the ears. In Eden's Crush the Three that had the most dance experience was Ivette Sosa, Rosanna Tavarez, and Nicole Scherzinger. Maile Misajon and Ana Maria didn't have the same experience but they held their end up.

Watching this brings me back back to my teens especially now that I’m approaching 30. It’s fascinating watching this as a lover of K-POP where dances have to be super meticulous with its lines and so forth and then seeing this and how even their arms are completely different and yet it’s a classic that still holds for the random structure and pushing the boundaries of pop. So much of it is Xenomania and itself, Brian Higgins but certainly Girls Aloud sold it and embodied it

In my humble opinion, this is THE best pop song of the 'noughties.' A three-minute masterpiece. Pop music is so dull at the moment -oh for a group this much fun again. As for those rather sad people who still think it's ok to describe the bright, interesting, talented Nicola Roberts as "ugly, ginger"...easy to say it anonymously isn't it? Hmm. Oh - and forgot to say "Downright gorgeous!'
