i mean even tiffany sometimes always think about the ot9 formation. during their party era when they're the guest on weekly idol and doing relay dance, tiffany says she's thinking about her friend whose not there, and the girls try to cover that with another story and blamed yuri who in fact made a little mistake

No, in last IGAB performance (Tokyo Dome Concert) They are already OT8 formation

I think it’s because each of the IGAB choruses is slightly different. In first chorus half the members turn around and in the last chorus they all face the camera. If you pay close attention you can see that Yoona started doing the final pose choreography but switched to match the rest of the members.
