Girls Generation has 8 members (Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun). They originally had 9 members, but the 9th member, Jessica, parted from the group (some say she left, some day she was kicked out), and recently, 3 members (Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun) left SM Entertainment in October but are still in Girls Generation.

Bris you got To know that with girls génération you ve got yourself just the biggest kpop group of the past eleven years. My advice: take a week off everything else and catch up To their work. Unfortunately i think they are coming To their final moments together

For us new fans of Kpop when we check Kpop history , you realize girls generation were the most famous Girl group. They still are though they focus on individual activities now. They got the title of Nation's girl group if I'm not wrong. They used to have 9 members but one of them was chucked out.
