I would say seven out of ten. I do not have issues talking to people that I do not know however I am very guarded for lack of a better word. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt however due to past circumstances of attempted exploitation once certain things happen that I feel that they are treating me like a mark I them choose to reassert firm boundaries which is rarely taken well.

Yeah! As a guy, I hate it when women femsplain things to me! If it sounds stupid or sexist in that context, that's because it probably is. If I'm explaining something to a woman, and she starts to feel stupid, that's almost certainly coming from a personal problem of hers that she should consider addressing with a shrink or something. Maybe she is legitimately not smart enough to follow the topic that I'm talking about, and that's fine, there are topics or concepts that humble me in that way as well from time to time, that doesn't mean that I should then internally accuse the person talking about the topic in question of making me feel stupid or inferior in some way, as if that was their intent all along. That's an unhealthy and divisive way of thinking about things. Instead, a bit of honesty is in order "I'm sorry I don't follow" or "this is a bit over my head, can we talk about something else" are appropriate ways of responding, if that person makes fun or is condescending at that point THEN it falls on them, then THEY are the jerk.
