It didn't look like a phone more like a music thing that they need when they're preforming, maybe something didn't work and he just checked if it was that

nikon j1 with a 30-110 mm lens attached, in pink if we're getting specific haha. fun fact: rydel told me she uses the same one and ross takes it out quite a bit as well! :)
