What is YOUR favourite free thing to do in London? 😍 Let me know, I love finding new places in my adoptive hometown! 🇬🇧

You may not be a classical music fan, but there are free lunchtime concerts in London. The main one is St James Church Piccadilly, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1.10. Another regular venue is St Olaves near Tower Hill, and another good one is at St Mary Abbott, High St Kensington every Friday, where students from the Royal College of Music get to impress you with their talents. They will usually ask for a donation at the door at all these venues, but it is not mandatory.

I spent 5 days in London 12 years ago and I was so "poor" that my lunch was muffins from Tesco :) Fascinating city and unbelievably huge!

We have moved into London 4 months ago, though I visited London couple of times earlier, I am amazed by the sheer size and various attractions of the city. I love the parks and spend a lot of time with my children there.

Londoner here - born and bred. Here are some of my favourite places: Southbank, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, The National Theatre, Brick Lane, Little Venice, Hyde Park, Richmond Park, Kyoto Gardens in Holland Park. For great food places, try Brick Lane and also Ilford. Dishoom is one of my personal favourite restaurant. London Eye and London Dungeons are overrated. For the best views of the the London skyline, go to Sky Gardens which is free. Instead of going to London Dungeons, visit one of the many free museums or art galleries. Better still, go to the theatre and watch a show. The London theatre scene is unmatched. However, book tickets in advance. You can watch a play at the Globe Theatre for a mere £5!

This seems to be a very charming city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

This is an amazing selection of things to do! I personally love visiting the museums (my favourite has to be the V&A for the incredible exhibits) and you just can't go wrong with a gorgeous walk through one of our royal parks with a warm drink at this time of year!

You mentioned Brick Lane and the Indian food... I love a good Indian meal, but what absolutely AMAZES me is how expensive it is to eat... EVERYWHERE else in the UK. Scotland, England (Birmingham - the 'curry triangle' particularly) and Wales (although only twice). I live in London and yes, it's not cheap, but go to Brick Lane and the side streets; Wow! You can get some great deals, good food and NOT as expensive as Scotland or elsewhere! Pick your time (lunch time or early evening), walk around and look at the offers in the windows. You will get accosted by owners standing in doorways with leaflets. So much competition - wanting YOUR business. I often take relatives or friends there, after a few pints in the local and then walk around for a 'deal'. It's cheaper than outside London - how does that work???

If you're in the Paddington area, you can walk along the Grand Union Canal to Little Venice. Probably better than starting from Warwick Avenue tube station.
