As an owner of a rescue, my dog was the most spoiled one I had. When we first got her, she'd lunge at the dinner table never knowing when she'd get her next meal. She fought for whatever she could, and you had to respect it. By the end, she'd just look at you and expose her belly. She wouldn't even move or get up. She knew that you'd go to her with snacks, and belly rubs. She had the GOOD LIFE.

@@abhishekparmar6702 Bringing an animal from one country to another always involves red tape. Each country has its own requirement re: vaccinations, medical records, quarantine periods, etc. You have to research them and make sure you comply with them.

@@allisonjohnson3470 since i and my business partner used to import and export legally from china, variety of goods including lighting equipment to industrial machinery to zirconium. we never experienced "red tape" they gave us literally no BS, no underhanded dealing, no inappropriate behaviour, no delays even, extremely standard stuff, prompt, transparent, nothing excessive at all. so what im telling you lady, is, youre talking out of your ass as long as chinese side is concerned.
@allisonjohnson3470
@allisonjohnson3470 14 күн бұрын
@@abhishekparmar6702 It’s not the exporting country that has the red tape. It’s the importing country. The US has regulations for bringing animals into the country. And importing live animals is very different than importing other items. And I’m certain you had to abide by customs regulations in both countries. I’m not saying the regulations are inappropriate or that there is any “underhanded dealing.” Simply that you have to research the particular regulations for each country and abide by them. And those often include requirements for veterinary records, etc. And the animal often has to remain in quarantine in the new country for a period of time. When my friends moved from the US to Japan, their dogs had to remain in quarantine in Japan for at least a month before they were allowed to go live with my friends. I am not insulting China, or any country here. Just sayin it can be a complicated process to move an animal from one country to another.

I'm sure they appreciate being rid of the mats and feeling clean and lightweight, like a spa treatment. From what I've read in my Lhasa Apso breed books, Tibetan Mastiffs were used at monasteries as part of a two-pronged dog protection system against burglaries. Outside the monastery door would be a Tibetan Mastiff tied to a spit with a rope--the purpose of which was to attack any burglars and make a big noise if a burglar came, but otherwise to be quiet. If the burglar got past that dog, then inside the monastery were the Lhasa Apsos who were trained to NEVER bark during meditation sessions but ALWAYS bark for strangers--they would be the alarm dogs of last resort.

@@chiloveradiouncut Wow so if you wanna be rude af, let's be rude! firstly, the comment you are replying to says they read it in a BOOK. What part of that says "online" to you? Secondly, the Tibetan Mastiff is an ANCIENT breed, this information is available online. Meaning it was likely bred before written history existed, considering dogs were first domesticated about 40,000 years ago and written history didnt exist until about 3400BC. So, like she says in the video, no one knows what Tibetan Mastiffs were ORIGINALLY bred for. They were LATER used to guard monasteries, and it is believed they were originally bred for guarding/protection, but it CAN'T be known for sure because, since they are an ancient breed, written history didnt exist then. Btw all this info was easily and readily available on the internet, so how about before judging other people do some reading of your own.
