Bucky. does "commit -m" only associate a message for your new modified file? does it not affect the upload of file, so that if I don't "commit", the modified file would have all changes?

if you make changes to a file which is 1k lines of code it will show you all the 1k lines when you make changes??

I tried renaming pig.txt to porky.txt file an now git status shows me deleted pig.txt and says changes not staged for commit. Help?

git add --all

I find it quite annoying that you say "git add ." adds everything. It's adding everything in the current folder, because of the hidden file named "." which represents the current directory, not because it's a predefined command in git, which what average viewers would think when watching your video.
