▶ About this video:
Software development projects are based on teamwork. All members should freely access code written by their colleagues. It is possible with services such as Github and Gitlab that allow documenting changes in code and uploading new versions.
Both these systems rely on Git.
In a nutshell, Git is a system that stores code, tracks its changes in real-time, and synchronizes updates on local and Cloud repositories. It’s not a particular service, rather, a technology. If we take Git and GitHub, for example, GitHub is a service that uses Git - but other services can use Git as well.

If you're a coder, you probably enjoy github more. If you're a project manager, designer, non-coder developer....probably like gitlab more.

GitLab. Saying otherwise would be like saying you don't like technical debt. Technical debt means you're growing so fast you can't keep up with demand. It's not perfect but it shows success.

Gitlab has better interface, much easier to play around. In UX rules, if your interface needs a guide and tutorials, then it means it has poor usability.

@@dhamotharan1734 security reason. Some dude had pushed customer's code to github. Some had used un-checked code copy from github causing security vulnerability. Ofc it's by default everyone know that they shouldn't push workplace code to public, but since it could accidently happened, banning github is the best choice.

Umm for this video only being a year long, you guys have COMPLETELY forgotten about github ACTIONS! It's github's new CI/CD pipeline! It has the potential to DOMINATE GitLab!
