I think habitual or cultural differences sometimes pose obstacles to our understanding of certain plots. As for this episode, in the beginning Saki thanks Yūta for re-filling the bathtub with hot water, which may confuse a lot of people not from Japan (I am from Asia but not Japan). In fact, it seems hot water for a bath is very valuable because of lack of water resources in Japan, and Japanese are used to sharing the bathtub one by one without changing the water. I learnt this "custom" from a plot in Keigo Higashino' Gelileo series: a murderer uses her bath time as an alibi to cover her crime but the lady who takes a bath later confirms when she is in the water there existing quite a lot of bubbles, which means no body enters into the bathtub before. So, Yūta's action of re-filling the bathtub is a very caring one from the perspective of Saki, leaving her a very good impression.

And so, i'm caught up with 1 out of 2 animes. Damn this series is insanely good! The psychological aspect is incredible and surprisingly realistic. Unlike many other cases, this anime genuinely feels like something that could happen to anyone irl and i love that! With all that said, time to take a break before starting to catch up with "Senpai wa Otokonoko"

Agreed! This is by far the most realistic of all the romance series we have going on this season. The drama feels legit. And I'm here for it!
