Father, my 5-year-old son and I tagged along on my husband's one-day business trip to Ottawa just to be able to hear you preach at a morning mass at St Mary's parish. It was an amazing experience. I wish I would have had the courage to thank you when I was there for your amazing evangelization and for never "shutting up", for speaking the truth of God's Word. Our children in the public school system are taught that it's okay to switch gender or even be nonbinary. Our poorest Latino students, many of them, can't afford Catholic school and there aren't enough scholarships. As a Latina and a teacher, I had to leave the cesspool that is becoming our public school system in the US.
