Since 1986, we have welcomed more than 170,000 families from around the world to visit Give Kids The World Village. We are honored to see our mission continue to grow and help families facing critical illnesses. Those who visit us spend a week experiencing the magic of our Village and making memories that matter. Here’s one story that reminds us how much a week can help.

GKTW is an awesome place. My son was diagnosed with Pineoblastoma (a rare form of brain cancer) in 2016 at the age of 7. He is now 9 and healed from cancer. His Make A Wish was granted this year in 2018. We were at the Village in May and we had the best time of our lives! They treated us so good! Our Villa was amazing and it was almost hard to want to come back home. Everything was just amazing!!!! Such a wonderful wonderful place!!!!We will never forget it!

That place was amazing. I just loved it. I had a wonderful time there. I just wanna give the man who created this place a big hug.

Wow I loved my stay at give kids the world it was awesome the ice cream palace the talent show it was awesome I loved it my villa was right next to everything it was so awesome

I don’t entirely remember my trip. Well I do. I was maybe 6 years old. I remember when someone from GKTW came to my home with games for me and my sister. I loved the ice cream palace! I have pictures of my sister and I getting temporary tattoos, I don’t remember where we got those. I got my own star. As well as a pillow. That might have been my favorite part of the village. Of course Disney world was possibly one of the best parts. But I had a ton of fun.
