Give Me An Answer with Stuart & Cliffe Knechtle

Cliffe Knechtle has a great conversation with college students at a campus in the southwest US.
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This was an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Lets not forget all the times Unicorns are mentioned in the bible. Simply download it from the gutenberg project and do a search, unicorns are mentioned at least 9 times.,

I hope you know that the word unicorn denotes the Bos primigenius (“primitive ox”), which is now extinct all over the world. when the English Bible was made the nearest translation to the Hebrew word was "unicorn" but understand that the original text in Hebrew does not use that word

Rhinoceros - A genus of quadrupeds of two species, one of which, the unicorn, has a single horn growing almost erect from the nose. This animal when full grown, is said to be 12 feet in length. There is another species with two horns, the bicornis. They are natives of Asia and Africa.

It would dismiss that hypothesis on the basis that every aspect of that story is provably wrong. The time and events around which it happened are false and in direct conflict with what science observes in geology, biology, physics and a number of other disciplines that serve us well with extreme accuracy. Ergo, the explanations we have make for a better, useful and more complete set of answers then any dessert nomad storybook ever will. If you want it to be true, then you have some work to do.

Here is the point - no one outside the bible bothered to write about Jesus until long after he died (like Josephus). And the bible is full of references to unicorns, old and new testament. With no burden of proof met, and plenty of reasons to think its bogus, its a joke anyone not in a coma thinks its nothing more than a collection of stories. Because for all we can tell, that is all it is.

nosuchthing8 they key here is did Jesus Christ existed or not? There are very old fragile manuscripts. If these are all lies then people died knowing it's all lies...which is reasonably unlikely. Study for self. don't rely what other people say or write. You do your own research..and what conclusion you end up with.

"science is not concerned with the question 'does god exist or not'" Why not? Seeing the qualities people and scripture attribute to god concepts, these make for perfectly testable assumptions. If you attribute creation of men to a god as per the Bible, then science tells you that particular god does not exist. The god who created a woman out of a piece of rib also did not exist. As soon as anybody makes a real-world claim about a god, it is a potential matter for scientific inquiry.

How can Science disprove God's existence tho? Science is very limited when it comes to understanding where we come from and how the universe was created. And before you say the Big Bang and Evolution theory, the big bang theory doesnt answer what caused it and evolution theory doesnt answer how can the first life form came about (in other words they have to provide evidence on how non life became life)

Please show me how to make a real & perfectly working Human Eye from no materials? Better yet, make your own new Human Being from SCRATCH with veins, & blood, a beating heart, a complex brain, nervous systems, lungs to breathe, ears to hear, a mouth to eat with & speak, testicles with microscopic sperm inside them for reproduction, & cover this Human u created with a skin that heals itself when cut, bones & joints that allow it to move many ways... *ALL FROM NO MATERIALS* *TO START FROM?* U couldn't even make a chicken from nothing! Can't make 1 grain of sand from NOTHING! Ohh by the way, *IF* u could make a Human Being from no materials that actually worked! How would u be able to get this Human body to feel or show love, cry when it's sad, want justice when it's been wronged, or feel guilty when it does something bad? LOL!

Sorry, but Josephus wrote only a year or 2 after Christ ascended to Heaven. He wrote as a historian AND he didn't like the Christians or the Jews. And where in the Bible is Unicorns? And YOU have the burden of proof to show it is wrong or full of lies.

@@zeraphking1407 For me and like minded people the moral grounding for morality is based upon our values, Wellbeing, empathy, respect, equality altruism, "THE Golden Rule" We try to actualize a healthy flourishing coperative society based upon said values that is why one "ought" to treat another's as you would like to be treated, this is our "reference point" or standard. People are treated as you yourself would like to be treated. Hence we have our "oughts" for example..... One "ought not steal if you wish to live in a society were property is not stolen. One "should" or "ought" do something if Its conducive with the actualisation of a situation that conforms with one's values. These "values" themselves are subjective by definition however it is entirely possible to make Objective declarations or decisions 'Within a framework of subjective values. Values are socially approved desires and goals that are internalised through the process of conditioning, learning or socialisation and that become subjective preferences, standards and aspirations”. A value is a shared idea about how something is ranked in terms of desirability, worth or goodness. Slavery conflicts with all of my values that my morality is based upon. Empathy alone is enough for me to reject slavery, I would not like to be treated as a slave, hence slavery is immoral. So I ask why do YOU regard slavery as wrong ?? I anticipate you will engage in evasion, missdirection and obfuscation because you can't even tell me what makes something immoral can you dear 😜

Pond scum evolved to a higher having no value would have to be the oversimplification of all time. Cliffe's arguments are so elementary and have been debunked to his face yet he comes back and spews them over and over again. How does cliffe know what god can and cannot do or what god is thinking when he says certain things. Its still very entertaining.
