I think that's why they show it in these videos - they want people to know that Ten is involved in polishing and finalizing the choreo. I honestly think SM (or at least the video editors of WayV videos) are proud to have someone as talented as Ten but I think depending on the amount of his input, Ten would rather give the full credit to the choreographers cuz it's originally their idea even if he came in to modify and polish it. Kind of like how writers have full credits to their work even if editors had to clean up their work a lot. Although I do hope there will be a sort of counterpart for editors in the field of dance and choreography. You know like a choreo editor or something. Cuz I think Ten is the type who will be more comfortable to take credits for a choreo if he was the one who made the draft choreo itself.

​@@arien_000Idols who contribute a verse or even just two lines are always included in official credits. And there are idols who participate in tge choreo the same way Ten does that also gets creditrd in the album so what is stopping SM from doing the same with Ten?

3 of them thou not native are well versed with English language.

For most of them they learned english before korean and their other choreos have been taught in korean.. but yes they're super talented linguists. Winwin would've struggled if he'd been in this comeback though lol

No SM has never given ten choreography credits since the start be solo or wayv. They do that for other artist with any small involvement too not him. Thats because they would need to pay him. In phantom and on my youth he himself said he gives free ideas and joke said there is no money SM should pay , agreed by members too. Even various phantom fanmeet performance when they performed as 4 due to kun injury. Now it comes upon choreographers who respect him. His hit the stage and superm solo bit choreographer 1LL and ten team jayssun credited him for his work in solo and wayv . Ten respect them all always and always gives ideas but hope he is respected too . Ofcourse members too have been loud about his involvement . Ten didn't say anything about give me that, but members said he had huge role and here this video.

​@@arien_000 some being taeyong fact check for 127 , riize wonbin shotaro love 119. They contributed to the choreography along with choreographer but had articles by Sm, smp floor interview and challenges tutorial etc. It's team effort but everyone involved especially giving highlight choreography for chorus should be credited. Countless times for ten . Ten not having them be it wayv or solo where he gave ideas for water and Nightwalker. Atleast 1LL and jayssun credit ten on their instagram while SM never.

@@minaawa yeah, it does sound unfair.. although honestly, I don't like it sometimes when just because an idol added a small input or made some changes on a small section of the choreo they will have same level of credits to the choreographers who thought up of almost the whole thing. It makes me remember the days when I used to write stuff for the media. Like when I wrote stuff for the newspaper before, even if the editor changed so much stuff on how I wrote my article, the article is still credited to me. Cuz it's the writers who come up with the facts and the ideas, the editors just make it look better. I am not sure if there is a counterpart for an "editor" in dance. Anyway, my point is credit should be given where credit is due but we shouldn't exaggerate them. Like if an idol contributed to the choreo, they should be given credit but maybe not equal to the choreographers who came up with almost everything from scratch. As for Taeyong and Shotaro given the same level of credits to the choreographers, if their contribution is of the same level as Ten's, then definitely I'd say SM is exaggerating their accomplishments. As for Ten, I know he can choreograph well and I know he would be happy to be acknowledged, but maybe he's not the type who wants to take the same level of credits to the original choreographers. And honestly, I would rather be the artist that may not always get credits from the higher ups but is always given credit by my colleagues rather than the artist who has an inflated reputation cuz the higher ups exaggerate the credit I deserve. I don't know as much about Taeyong and Shotaro cuz I don't keep up with them, but I do know that Ten always contributes something in improving and refining their choreos and he is doing it for the good of their performance and not for the credits and to look cool - which I respect a lot. If SM has some issues with crediting him then whatever, people have eyes and them not giving Ten credit while at the same time giving exaggerated credits to other artists will only diminish the value of their word and will make the credit they give to their other artists less credible. This is what drives some toxic Taeyong stans crazy (note that each artist has toxic stans, including Ten) - that no matter how SM used to push Taeyong as one of their best dancers before, majority of the people still think Ten is better cuz no amount of credit and promotion could change the fact that Ten is the best dancer in NCT. I respect Taeyong, he really is a good dancer, but some of his solo stans have been after that best dancer reputation for a long time and still haven't given it up yet until now.

We don't know if its just small part or just show in video when SM has refused to credit him right from the time dream in a dream and choreographers on their instagram litrally credit him, even being younger or elder to him, its about being fair as every idea makes the art. Members saying he gives "lots" of ideas. He is silent or been silenced would never know as he was shut about any contribution in give me that thou kun and other spoke up, calling him best dancer in SM for his changes , highlights to choreography. But phantom live when talking about choreography he himself saying he gives free idea but SM don't pay him. In 90s love i believe he choreographed some parts too as sungchan back then a new debuted idol started speaking about ten contribution in their live, mark and ten looked at staff and told him to keep quiet but he cutely continued about his viral part and poses were given by ten. In on my youth i don't remember magazine interview name, but again he himself talk about his involvement on choreography and stage direction. The 1st time being bold about it but in live saying yes " free ideas SM won't pay" . That choreographer being bada who again has history of not crediting ten ( need to know choreography ) But its SM at fault so can't totaly blame her. We really don't know what actually happens , but SM is notorious for it. Even for song writing if someone writes some chorus line are given credits, not for dance, especially if other idols get for same or less efforts. I feel its unfair. Hope he is out soon from this kpop realm or SM. And the best dancer thing.. totally agree
