Hey Kevin ... I have to tell you that between you and Josh Flowers (Aviation 101); I was encouraged to get back flying after 12 years or so. My middle son and I just took a trip from KSUT (Cape Fear - Southport NC) up to First Flight KFFA on 1/19/22. We had a blast and he now has the bug and is starting on his PPL and I'm starting instrument training. Thanks again!!!

Glad to see both of y'all smiling together. Plane or no plane, you could probably keep making videos and we'll keep watching. The flying may be what caught my attention, but the down-to-earth family aspect and lack of sensationalizing and staging everything is what kept me watching.

I've always flown Lightspeed, but I do want to try a bose headset to compare. I want to get a second lightspeed for passengers. I have a dc now for passengers and it's ok, but not very quiet.

well according to posts made by kevin on american pilots he and jamie are working their butts off at their jobs, because of personel shortage in atc nation if not world wide. leaving little to no time for relaxation so they are left with the choice of keeping 1bc locked up in the hanger till retirement or selling both while the selling is good and hope that in the future they can fly again. now the no respons to comments is thanks to crapy rural internet

Having been following and enjoying their videos for years. That said, in my opinion, loyal subscribers deserve an explanation of what is going on and why this is all happening. If they're between jobs, planes, have illness etc. I get that, but for those who have stood by them for aa long time, doesn't seem fair to leave 225,000 subscribers who have helped build their KZfaq income hanging. IMO

It is amazing to me, and likely many, that there are people in this world who believe they are owed something from KZfaq personalities. Perhaps we can all accept that this family has plans of which they are not yet able or interested to disclose for many reasons. If they come back in a new or newer aircraft to take us along on their adventures, we will be overjoyed. If not and they are exploring other parts of life, good for them. When is it our business to know their business and likewise, when is it anyone's business to know our own business?

@@ThomasCrowne it became the subscribers business the moment they began making money from the subscribers loyalty to the channel. They wouldn't have to give all the details, but they could at least let subscribers know if they can expect to see them back flying and when.

@@ThomasCrowne I am a former"patron" and yes I was paying them directly to support their channel and as a "sub" indirectly contributing to their income stream...I did so gladly as their content was informative and enjoyable...I still think the world of them but must say that I am disappointed in how this change has been handled...none of us are entitled to know private personal details but some general comments of clarification would be welcome...I support their life choices as they are good people..I wish them only the best as they go forward...
