Brand has gone downhill. Not a fan of their new styles but that’s just me. Still love my Antigona small and I ordered a pair of the elegant studded boots (not sure if they’ll ever come, SSENSE sucks right now)

I just purchased the mini in black sugar goat skin and I’m in love! I love the design and silhouette of this bag. I love how versatile it is you can grab it with the top handles, wear it crossbody or over the shoulder. The quality is impeccable. I think it is a timeless and classic design. It feels comfortable to wear it’s structured, yet a bit squishy. It has a bit of edginess that I like with the pointed metal pieces on the strap. It’s a mini, but very spacious!

I’ve been eyeing this bag for so long. Thanks to your video, I might consider purchasing it preloved since it holds up so well. I really love the fact that it holds so much stuff despite being a small bag! I also have that same exact DUYP key pouch and I love it so much!! Thank you for sharing!

I got the Antigone preloved as a Mother’s Day present to myself in metallic silver…bc all the reviews I saw had similar complaints about the strap coming off so I ordered silver “O” rings from Amazon and used that to attach the strap & eliminate that issue…it makes the strap a little longer, but I don’t mind that & it works great with no issues…getting this bag was the best decision I made, completely obsessed with it & I only paid $800 for it 👜😍

@@missunknown4548 You can tell by the leather and hardware immediately, and if it’s that good of a fake, might as well enjoy it because it’s not lacking in comparison to the „real“ thing anyway. Plenty real.

I was not much of a fan of the antigona but after seeing the one you have I became obsessed looking for it! I managed to find one preloved but smooth tan. I haven’t received it yet but I hope it’s as nice as your one

I recently bought the mini antigona in croc embossed leather. I love it- it’s beautiful but I am at a bit of a loss on how to style it. Would you say the the mini antigona bag in the material you have is more everyday and the croc embossed is more for special occasions?

This is goatskin so I don’t spray anything at all. It’s super durable and tough and I haven’t had any issues getting caught in light rain with it. 😉

It's very cute! I don't have any Givenchy. The size (by the look of it) reminds me of the alma bb which i am seriously considering. Overall, it looks like a winner but i do prefer handles that fold down.

Got the new mini Antigona with the magnetic closure. So handy and their leather is so hard wearing! Yes, I only had one time it slipped but I think it never happened again.

I think Givenchy is underrated as a brand in general. I have the Pandora and I really still really love it. It used to be my perfect work bag, when I went to the office every day. Like the Antigone, not an “it” bag anyone but I don’t care.

Love the style and silhouette of the Antigona. I've had my eye on the mini and small sizes. The only thing holding me back is the stiff zipper and opening, and worrying that items will get scratched taking them in/out.

The zipper opening definitely loosens over time.

It loosens pretty quickly. I also have the mini and my items never got scratched but my hand and wrist would sometimes.

I have a small and that hasn’t happened to me. I recommend buying second hand and that the serial number ends in number 8 or less. Antigonas before 2018 are better than ones after, ones after have a coating on them and shows scratches even with goatskin sugar leather. Mine is 2018 and my cousins was 2019, she sold hers after comparing to mine. Mine was a much better made bag. 2016 and older are the best

Just go ahead and buy it 😂 I have the black grained and it’s my FAVORITE. I have it in the medium size, I’m pretty tall 5,10 and it looks amazing with everything I wear , super casual yet can dress it up and elevates at the same time . After all of these years , it’s still a head-turner! You won’t regret it !

Givenchy is quiet stylish classy luxury. 😊😊 I like that many do not talk about Givenchy compared to other luxury brands. More assurance that “everyone” will not be wearing my same bag.

I enjoy using my mini Antigona but I'm always mindful the spikes on the strap doesn't scratch the smooth box leather. Love the colour of your one!

I have this same bag in same leather but in black and I've replaced the spikey studs with the same size but round head ones. Those spike studs unscrew and I got matching size ones on Amazon to replace them. It's not a permanent modification and can be reverted back in case you decide to ever sell the bag. My spike ones would dent my bag if I wasn't careful when placing it on the car seat next to me or anywhere else really. I always had to fiddle with the strap to make sure the spikes aren't up against the leather. Got tired of that

Not necessary unless you’re trying to keep the inside extra clean. Structure wise, you don’t need one.

Hi. Great video. Just bought a new Antigona camera bag and the strap can still fall off easily. I’ve complained to Givenchy and they’ve offered to close the loop. I’m bummed to change the design and intention, but the bag is so expensive and I’d hate to be walking and the bag fall off. They say it will take 6-8 weeks.

Do you find the bag hard to get into it? Since the handles don't move it seems like you would have a bit of trouble opening it.

Honestly I complained about this in my original review video a while back. The chunky zipper kept scraping my hands whenever I tried to get my things out. But now, it loosened up so it’s a lot easier!

It was listed as “dark brown” sugared goatskin years ago. This color was seasonal and I’ve never seen it brought back again.

The only thing that's stopping me from purchasing the antigona is that the handles don't drop down. That is such a deal breaker. The handles would be in the way when you wearing it crossbody. I own a LV speedy 25 damier ebene and love it. It'll be forever in my collection.

I have one in black and I don’t find that the handles get in the way however, the opening of the bag is snug when you first get it so the zipper can sometimes scratch you when you try to get in/out of it. Still one of my favorite pieces.

I bought that bag in the spring and sold it in the fall. It’s beautiful but did not work for me. I had to force myself to carry it. But I do find myself looking at Givenchy more online. But probably Won’t be buying another one of their bags anytime soon.

It was too bulky when worn crossbody. I actually scratched it pretty bad within the first month of having it because I kept bumping it into things. Also, it was heavier than I expected when I carried it top handle on my wrist. And I thought the small zipper opening wouldn’t be an issue but it really annoyed me. And I was paranoid about the handles getting dirty (it was pearl gray). Just didn’t work for me. Such a shame because it’s so beautiful and I’m still in need of a gray bag.

It was simply labeled “brown” or “dark brown” but I believe this color has been discontinued for a while now.

Love the aesthetic of the Antigona but I find myself not reaching for zippered bags much. My hands have gotten scratched on the speedy B 25 zipper so thinking of letting it go as well.
