I grew as a military kid and moved a lot. The best thing I can tell you is don't dwell too much on the last place you lived and the friends you had. Yes miss them and let yourself feel that but don't let it govern how you live your life now. Don't expect to find friends just like that ones you had thats not fair to yourself. Your only allowing for one possible type of friend ship the friends you had. Join groups go to church and be willing to be the first to reach out even in little ways like if everyone is hungry and someone says they want to eat somewhere say that that sounds good and say you should all go! Also put yourself in the awkward situation of not using your phone I find that its easier to fall into a convo with your phone in your pocket because you pick up easier on things people around you are talking about and to them you will be more approachable if you don't look busy you seem more open. 💕 Look at new friend ships as an opportunity to have more joy in your life.
