Let your child know that no one touches their private parts except in certain situations like: When they go to the bathroom and their caregiver is cleaning them up or during medical procedure-so long as mom or dad is present. Tell your child that these rules apply even with people they know and even with another child. They too are not to touch anyone else's private parts with any part of their body (hand, mouth, etc.). And most importantly, they should report anyone who forces them to do that to mom and dad.
