Yeah Giyu is definitely feeling survivors guilt not just for Sabito but also for his sister who hid him so he'd survive. Giyu lost a sister AND a brother and he felt completely useless in saving them.

just a note, Sabito's haori was his fathers, and the sword hilt Giyu uses was Sabito's. They were both very sentimental people
