Pulled the trigger on the neo 16 4050. Was on sale for $799 during black friday best buy deals. Loving it so far tbh. I’ve only ever played on console. Happy with it thus far no complaints 👍

@@black-gj5gx Its been amazing. The thermals and display has been the two things that stand out. One nitpick would be the audio. Its kinda mid. But headphones solves the issue for music and games.

@@youtubeultron4603 i run it on turbo mode for when im playing along with a cooling fan stand. Noise isnt loud compared to other laptops in the pricerange. Fairly quiet

The Helios Neo has two M.2 slot. Strange many people didn't see it. Love the thermal, great in game perf and fps on shooters, especially sweety early hot drop in BR games.

omen long-term durability is never dissapointed , i have 2018 version still looks fine even the keyboard never got pale

Would you recommend the Neo 16 for content creating mainly video editing in adobe premier? You mentioned the color gamut is good on the Neo how does that benefit video editing? Sorry I don't know much about pcs. Also aside from the dedicated gpu, the the Neo 16 comes with built in UHD graphic card which is inferior to the Intel Iris XE graphics would this make a difference at all for video editing? There are other models with worse display and slightly lower (acer nitro 5 i7-12700h specifically) processor with the Iris XE gpu but given all other specs are equal would you recommend this over them? Thanks.

The internals of acer helios neo DOES have second nvme slot, it’s located beside the rams, it’s kinda concealed near the edge of between 2 rams on the right. You can see the screw on the far right for second nvme.

Im a producer just like you, I would suggest the helios neo 16 cuz it has better durability specially that u will be using Vst’s and alot of plugins and as he said in the video better fan system and thermals, the speakers dznt really matter cuz u will be using headphones so yeah… me myself I ordered neo 16 still waiting for the package lmao

@@jebuscrustgaming1325 i had no issues with it. i do 3d animation in blender it never disappointed me. gaming experience overall good all the time average under 80 c temp cpu and gpu temp.

Just bought the Neo for $899 to enter the matrix with my video editing! I hope it does well, I don't get why no one runs video editing benchmarks? export some video to see how fast it exports not everyone is a hardcore gamer yo. Thanks for the review tho helped me pull the trigger on this one!

@@maanas126 so far so good I've edited many videos so far with this computer and it is light speed ahead of my old Acer Swift 3. It has saved me hours in editing. Best buy has it on sale now for 799 crazy good price. I did upgrade it to 32 gb ram and added a 1 tb SSD to the available slot inside the computer

I think the omen will run cheaper than what is shown as he also mentioned he got it for 900 or something but the price increased... Coz i got mine a few days ago for 1200 euros with a rtx 4060.. so in america it would probably be around a 1000 dollars which makes it a much better option considering you get a 4060 with 200 dollars less.

Gotcha. Higher resolution means harder to run at native resolution, but you can use upscaling like dlss to mitigate. Higher resoltion can be great if you have great eye sight though.

Are omen laptops worth buying for long run and does this laptop have good battery life i have heard that intel i5 13 gen battery is average compared ryzen laptops live lenovo 7840hs which has 60wh battery but it more battery life than 83 wh battery of hp omen is this true? plss reply @GizmoSlipTech

Yes Ryzen has much longer battery life. All AMD laptops are better for battery. But watch Jarrods tech channel to check reviews before you make a decision. I think Legion and Acer Neo 16 are best choices at this price point.
