The 2nd M.2 Slot is where the big 2 is on the right. Next to the RAM. I nearly didn't buy this laptop because of this review video, but found the correct info elsewhere. Figured it may help someone.

@GizmoSlipTech, Just found an i5-13500HX + RTX 4060 configuration of this laptop for $1,200. Is that a good deal? (Assuming that it was since you got a 4050 for about the same price) But I want to know if an i5-13500HX would be a great match for an RTX 4060? should I instead get an i7 + 4060 config of Neo 16?

I'll suggest i7-13700hx if you do multitasking or heavy browsing or any content creation work or even edition video/photo also for future proof you should always go for higher CPU but rtx 4060 is perfect both of the CPUs also if you tell me in detail what's your usage I'll be able to help you better but still never go for the lower cpu no matter what

The liquid metal last as long as 1 year and a half, then is recommended for a change

I bought the i7-13700hx version of this laptop. I've had it for 4 months so far and it has been an absolute beast. It's running WoW at ultra with a stable 120 fps, temps around 60-70, fans at 3500 rpm which is somewhat tolerable. I added a second m.2 nvme, and upgraded the ram to 32gb. I do not regret my purchase at all.

@classicbott7676 I am so sorry for the late response. No issues whatsoever! I upgraded mine to 32gb ram and added another SSD. I've also tweaked all my settings to take advantage of gsync and I am able to run basically anything at 160+ fps at high-ultra settings.

You should compare this in their mid/high spec configurations against Nitro 5s. Then you'll see how the Nitro 5 burns the keyboard :D (typing from a Nitro 5 btw, so I am certain of the heat/temp problem of this series) Nitro 5 is better off staying at xx50 GPU and not beyond i5 CPU. Anything higher is where Predator's design strengths totally justify their range being higher tier.

The thing that keeps me thinking is that in warzone 2 the Rtx 4050 was below 60%. Why is thath happening? Is the processor not good enough for warzone?

that happens on warzone 2 on low settings. if he played on the ultra preset, he would've gotten the same FPS and the GPU would be 90 - 100 % the 13500HX is an amazing processor, theres no way it wouldnt be "good enough" for any game. warzone 2 was just very unoptimized, but warzone 3 is a lot better optimized.

@UnendingCoda it runs really cold , even excellent when using cooling pad , never exceeding 75c / 165f when i usually play on balanced no matter what game. I cant recommend it enough. For the price.

I totally agree it is priced too high at $1200, but this is definitely not a sub $800 laptop since this has superior thermal design and 400 nit display. I would say $1000 is a good price for it. $900 would be really amazing price in current market.
