These two are perhaps the finest compulsory ice dancers of their generation (so far anyways). One of the finer renditions of this dance that I've seen and they could've potentially been first here (although Delobel & Schoenfelder also had a great Argentina tango at this competition as well). It was clear that they were on a fast and unstoppable rise up the ranks and it's nice to see that the judges could see the quality of their abilities. They are in my opinion, far and away the greatest ice dance team that Canada has ever produced and the only Canadian team to actually live up to all the hype that's been placed on them.

I may be in the minority but, I truly miss the Compulsory Dance segment of Ice Dance competition. There was/is no better way to sort out the skill level of the teams on a true apple to apple comparison. This was very much a first rate CD. Super well done 👍👏👏👏

I also miss the compulsory dances. They really separated the best from the rest.

They were definitely the best in compulsory dance. Their edges are the best in the world.

+ Nina Andrade They had better free dances, but the masters of the CD's were Domnina and Shabalin.

D&S had bigger patterns, more precise edging, larger glides in the CDs. They were rightfully first but had questionable FDs. I don't think VM have the best skating skills, although they were one of the best in ice dancing history.@@eqvnqb7746

Oh God! Almost 10 years passed, three Olympic Winter Games and many other international events to glorify Tessa and Scot as the most decorated figure skaters in history, breaking the world record for overall score, and being awarded for their artistic and athletic skills, their unique chemistry, their strong connection and affection, their passionate devotion in every performance. They just captured everyone's heart!!!

Incredible beautiful! As I was doing ice dance, the "Arg" was my absolut favorit dance. It is a pity, that cd is not in the competitions any more!

Боже мой как только мы любим обязательные танцы в их исполнении. Это так чудесно красиво прям нету слов описать глаз нельзя отвести пересматриваем по десять раз. Чемпионы из чемпионов самые красивые самые лучшие.

How divine is your Ice-skating. Myself I was an icedancer. But now in my aged, I'm follow your Argentin Tango with every step and movement, and feeling to fly with you over the ice. God bless you, and keep you fit and healthy. Wishing you Good Luck!

I feel the same. The Argentine tango was my absolut favorit dance. My heart flyes with these dancers over the ice as I enjoy every step, the make. I don't ice dance any more, so sorry for it.

They are just so good in compulsory dance. It's a shame ISU canceled CD after 2010 season.

Please tell me you redid the music for this video, because as I recalled, at World, V&M started their first step of the dance (progressive) 4 counts late, not on the exact phrasing when the melody began. Although they kept the timing throughout the entire dance, yet their restart was not on the same phrasing as shown in this video.

They are way better than the cheesy and overhyped Bourne & Kraatz. Far more talented. As a Canadian it annoys me we gave more praise to Bourne & Kraatz than this amazing team, in some ways.

Yes, V&M are significantly better skaters than B&K. I remember being pleased that Canada finally had a team that could skate like champions.
