DID you ever build anything. BEEN riding 40 years, Honda Valkyrie and had my first drop, WHILE STOPPED!! Had a complete knee replacement and it buckled causing me to almost drop to the right, but I saved it and it went a little to far to the left and I could not hold it. It went down gentle, and I tore my left arm apart trying to hold it up. I was on a very steep hill that leaned toward the right, that didn't help either...no damage, but hurt my ego..sucks getting old!!

They compensate to keep bike level, like if too close to curb. One does full extension, other short to stay level. Automatically retract as bike speeds up.
