Watched it on iPlayer withmy wife. Overall bloody good silly fun. Kept it very similar to the 90's for the most part, didn't realise the cheerleaders were missing till she pointed it out and was good. Yeah I enjoyed it, a good pretty faithful reboot.

@@JamieSMB-nx1yg I know the show has been renewed for another season but ratings are declining. There were 8.7 million views when the show started and according to wikipedia the last show aired they were down to just 4.5 million. This means they have lost nearly half their viewers over the past 2 months which is a cause for concern The way ratings are going this show would be lucky to last another season

That’s right, Gladiators in the reboot series on BBC One reintroduces the original theme song in the opening title and it will look better than the crap reboot series on Sky.

YES, we cannot WAIT to see Gladiators BACK on Saturday night television on the 13th January 2024 for the first time in 24 years in terrestrial television since the original Gladiators came to an emotional end with the last ever episode on the 1st January 2000 in the old channel home on ITV filmed in the old arena home in the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham (now Utlita Arena Birmingham since the 15th April 2020 in the present) and this will look good as the original series on ITV and better than the crap reboot series on Sky.

Just loving this BBC reboot of Gladiator's. I grew up with the original series but this one tops em all. Great cohort of Gladiators for 2024...and exceptional ones are; Giant and Fury ....really looking their part and living upto it well. Beeb did a fab job on Intro title graphics (best ever) plus, love the original music played in the opening and closing titles. (Just bring back the original music for 'Hang tough' from the 90s.) For me, this Beeb reboot of Gladiators is BETTER than the original and loving it! ❤️ ❤😊

All I want to see is a badass retro intro sequence, the original retro soundtrack, and some actual personality from the gladiators. Then I’ll be happy. The only thing that worries me are the hosts. As much as I like Bradley walsh. Not sure he and his son will be a good fit for this. But we’ll see.

Well...I reckon Viper is the new "Wolf" the way things are going...he looks about the only interesting character...always go for the one upsetting the apple cart as they're more interesting!. Nice to see a Scottish Gladiator amongst the new in take...at least the majority of the old format is still there. I think that maybe Bradley's son though is the "Weakest Link"...maybe he might not last as long as he thinks he will...
