According to an article that I found online, Jackie was a last-minute replacement and had only a short time to train. In fact, she stated in the article that she had never climbed a rope before, and seeing her performance here, I can believe that.

The only other times I've seen an Eliminator DNF was the 1st two seasons of American Gladiators. Granted, the scoring format was different. Both players started together racing against a time limit (somewhere from 60 to 90 seconds). When you finished, you earned 2 points per second remaining. High score once the numbers were crunched won. As such, running out of time was the only way to get a DNF. Once season 3 came around, we switched to the head-start format we all know and love.

Well anyone! Plenty of contenders...a couple that spring to mind Sarah Dahm from Season 5, Audrey Garland from Season 6! Someone who had been on the show for a start!

I round of applause please for the band as they no doubt had to start improvising after half way through that women's event!!! Joking aside rope climbs are very difficult for women as it requires a lot of upper body strength but I'm surprised a heptathlete couldn't get up. I'm thinking she may have run herself into the ground during the events and in the eliminator it caught up with her.

I’ve seen the travilator claim a few victims, but never the rope climb!

jackie what were you trying to do? you must have climbed that rope in practice.

I find it hard to believe that they couldn't find a single contender, not one that had been trained for the show to do this. Maybe rope-climbing should be taught at schools again.

Jackie's run was the worst Eliminator run by a Contender in the History of Gladiators. Just awful!

They could have chosen a better brit representitive i guess.
