I just purchased an airwrap yesterday! I can’t wait to shampoo and use it to dry/curl my hair. I played with it some last night on my dry hair and was amazed at how easy it was just to touch up my curls. I’m a hairstylist and will probably use it at work some too! I did this for a dinner event and I got so many compliments. I did the back differently actually, instead of splitting it into 2, I split it into 3. The middle section joining with the top sections. Make my hair look more curlier towards the bottom. Love it

Okay I wholeheartedly gave this a whirl! It was really easy to understand and recreate as a novice so thank you for this tutorial. My hair must be a little longer than yours and I have the longer barrels. However... PROS 1. This solved my frizzy flat roots issue with this device 2. This gives me a reason to reach for any of the other attachments 3. I now know a better idea for what barrel to use when 4. You taught me a nice simple way to section my hair CONS 1. My hair initially looked like yours and quickly went mostly pretty flat (yes I did it wet from middle to ends like you showed. I know it was very wet to start because the device had trouble grabbing my ends because they were heavy I ended up doing smaller sections and it was still having trouble) 2. The side I did second held even less than the side I did first. I can only guess by the time I got to it perhaps it was more dry? Maybe as I get faster the sides will be more even but I was pretty fast I thought. 3. The initial mousse and hairspray method left my hair feeling yucky. I think I need to retry using either less or a different product. 4. My hair is so long I can’t extend my arm long enough to pull completely taute to let it regrip like you showed so it was a little messy in spots but I did pretty good. I want to love this tool so much I’m determined because I love the idea of less damage. I’m going to hone what I’ve learned and keep trying. So far a regular high damage curler or no damage wrap wet hair to dry while you sleep methods work best. If you recommend another tutorial for me to try I’m all ears.

I bought myself the airwrap for Christmas and I want to try this look, but I’m finding the curls are dropping out too quickly, I don’t know what products to use besides hairspray (which I find makes my hair look dull and greasy) any suggestions on products to use in my damp hair that I can get in the UK?

I have think hair like yours and I find that the larger barrels start to drop hair at the end and I’m forced to take really small sections. How do you get those larger sections to grab around the Airwrap?

I just got the dyson. However, im having a hard time holding a curl even with damp hair. Also it keeps overheating and turning off. Im returning it. Very disappointed as I thought I was going to love it.
