Beautiful. But she was beautiful even before the make-up. I would like to see what you can do for a 50+, 60+ with overweight, wrinkles, under eye bags, double chins and age spots. The way most of us look. What can be done? And for bluish green eyes. An eyeshadow that isn't orange since that color looks like a rash around my eyes.😢

Glad you mentioned Natasha Denona eyeshadow pallets - they are truly exceptional. As someone with hooded eyes - I used to always skip the eyeshadow as I thought they made me look "clowney". While proper placement and blending techniques are definitely the biggest factors to good outcomes - I'd wager that the quality of the eyeshadow's formula is right up there on the same level of importance. If you've struggled with eyeshadows - trust me when I say that Natasha Denona's pallets are a true game changer!! Like Hazel said, they are definitely a bit pricey (they have a price range of around $120 a pallet) but my GOD - they are worth the investment!!

Thanks for explaining eye primer, Gabi. I gave up on them, because no one explained that I had to set them with powder. At the age of 47, it feels like my skin has gone from puberty skin care needs to perimenopausal overnight. I don't know how to care for my skin anymore. You might have some older videos I should watch. I'm a relatively new subscriber. I'm on a weight loss journey, so I'm also having to re-learn how to apply makeup even though my face will always be round, the fullness is just..."different". The kitty cut/layered bob that used to look face slimming just looks dowdy and tired now. I feel like the deeper colors and black that I used to wear a lot, overpower me now.

Hazel looks gorgeous, Gabi! Well done! I enjoy all your tips and tricks for mature women. I use the Rephr brushes too, Gabi. They are lovely. Rephr's skincare was my absolute favourite and their eyelash curler is the bomb! I paid attention to the skin prep tips prior to makeup application. What a brilliant suggestion to use eye patches as dual purpose, to hydrate the skin as well as catch any eyeshadow fallout. I could have used your advice this Wednesday. I was going out for lunch with friends and wanted to look my best. My powder eyeshadow, copper colored, fell under my eyes and I didn't have time to remove it and redo my concealer. I had "special sparkly undereyes" that day! Oh well, I know what to do now, haha! Thanks for a great video, I will check Hazel's socials next. Take good care!

The fallout is such a pain! I almost always do the eye makeup before foundation and concealer now. It's saved a lot of time and annoyance!

I am so glad I just found you! Im in Australia, 62yrs old and relate to everything you have noted on certain product effects or application that make me look older. I love this make over, you have excelled at this young natural look for Hazel. T The end result is just amazing, and she must have felt so beautiful, which you have highlighted perfectly. ❤you are amazing and my go to for learning about Makeup application and brush use too. I was in a very trendy and artistic salon recently and the owner told me she noticed that my makeup looked amazing. I told her I watch many videos and learn best products and applications process and she said it showed. Pretty stoked about that as she is a hair and makeup artist the requested in our area. .
