In this channel, I show you fine hair tricks & hacks all the time but fine thin hair hairstyles are often overlooked. I think if we expect our hair to look like someone else’s then we will always be disappointed. Her tips are actually good tips for fine and thin hair. The point is to create more fullness with styling versus hair that is flat and not styled at all. Your hair may be thinner and finer to begin with but as long as you can create some more fullness than what you started out with by using some of these techniques then I still consider that a positive.

I actually LOVE the way your hair looked right when you first pulled it all back and just had some sort of hanging near your face. Super elegant and pretty. I would wear that style DAILY 🙂 I normally find hair videos intimidating but your directions were so well explained. I just need to get a haircut first!!

Definitely, her hair IS NOT thin. It's thick. Plus, do not recommend this look to anyone who has thin hair. But must agree that on her looks great.

She has very fine hair, but a lot of it. Fine, thick, and coarse are descriptors of the hair strand itself. Then, there’s thick and thin, which describes the amount of hair a person has.

I LOVE this Style and Appreciate the tips because like many, I have fine, heavy dense and straight hair. It DOES have some natural body, but because its long, the volume gets dragged down. I haven’t found anyone with similar fine frizzy hair like mine and where I live, it’s dry and fine hair with frizz is unheard of. I found this video when I was debating to cut my hair short and completely change my look about a month ago. Love your videos Gabi! Wondering if you’d cover beginner extensions and/or wigs and what to look for? I’m always in need of volume!

Hi. I was always told that washing frequently, brushing too much and using hot tools on my thin hair would make it even thinner as those things can cause damage to the hair. Is this true?

I use thick natural conditioner every other day , and shampoo 3 to 4 days a week on my thin hair . The trick is to wear it up at night lightly twisted wen wet before bed with a clean hair due in the morning

Gabi. Really enjoying your videos for thin fine hair. I'm a bit late coming to the party, never realized that layers actually don't offer volume to my hair. Can you offer any suggestions for growing out my layers?

Yes I can...after having my fine hair layered because when it is layered it is quite wavy I decided to grow the layers out or take a trip to the hairdressers every six weeks...if you want to grow out layers it just having to be patient...mine is still growing out the layers but I know that in the end it will be easier and I can have a bob sort of style which is easier for me.

Beautiful woman and lovely hair. My hair is thin and in the past year I seem to be losing it. My part is getting wider and the back end of the part almost looks like a bald patch. My hair is kind of dry looking and lifeless: it doesn’t look healthy like this. It’s amazing how fast things deteriorate. Great tips, just wish I had time to do that haha.

For some reason I can't get my hair to curl, after clamping it in a small barrel curling iron and holding it for over a minute there was barely a kink in my hair. My ends seem to be a bit dry so maybe that is the reason. I have the same frizzy type hair as you Gabi when it is left to air dry. Your hair always looks amazing no matter what style you choose. I want to warn anyone interested in the volumizing powder. I used the Big Sexy Hair (red bottle) powder, and shortly after, developed psoriasis! I have NEVER had any problems with even minor dander before. The powder seriously dried out patches, and it’s never been the same, even though I only used the powder a few times. Bad joo joo.

@@GlamGirlGabi It’s weird for sure. It just dried out my scalp so bad! And once there was the teeniest tiniest breaking the skin, that it got into, it became a real problem. It’s only two small spots, so I’m thankful for that.

My hair is actually really thin but after I blow dry it with the proper products, I can definitely make it look really full. The benefit of my hair is that it’s not thin on top. It’s thin on the sides so I can hide it well.

I've done this but as my hair got longer (below shoulder)and I would have done this had I known when it was shorter ,but if you use a 3 barrel waiver it's much easier .for those of you who don't like using a curling iron espec. or don't want to have to do a whole twisting method and the three barrel waver I just hold in place and move down a space to next wave, etc.head and you just move it down space to space . when it was that length I would just probably had to do one to two runs! Shes amazing good tips. But my arm definitely gets too tired these days for that many steps so I had to condense it and that's a way!❤

Love all your honest content thank you! I'm in the process of growing out a few hair regrets. In doing so I gradually blended the color back and trimmed my own ends. I hide it by just putting it up in a clip. I recently went for a consult and felt embarrassed. Told me he thought it would be longer by now 😔

@@GlamGirlGabi Hi! The consult was for a shaping since I'm trying to get to your length. He had cut and color corrected my very bleached hair a year ago. So today he saw my 'bad at home trimming healthier hair' lol...I think he was not happy that I did stuff on my own. Also he was surprised I didnt want layering.

@@monicaromero7001 Yes hairdressers are never happy when you play with your own hair at home. Hang in there. It takes time to grow out hair when you melt it with bleach but we have ALL DONE IT. You just have to be patient. I am actually launching a video about that next week. Stay tuned for that.

I like 2XL volumizing spray by Tweak-d (they recently did a 2XL shampoo and conditioner that I also like) and they have the best scalp scrub I've ever used. Also use TRUHAIR Color & Lift - a colored powder that fills in where it's esp thin (like the front) and helps give a little lift

My issue, is that I burn my scalp using a curling iron, would using small Velcro rollers and blow dry the ends work. Also after exercising I don’t always have the time to do all these steps. Any suggestions on keeping the waves after exercising.

John Frieda sells some round ones that are different sizes. They are hard to find in stores but available on Amazon. I have one that has lasted me well over 10 years.

What if I don't use the voluminous tool rather use the curling iron instead and follow the curling technique you showed, will it give the beach curls too?

Oh my goodness I love your videos and tips for thin hair! I contemplated getting a hair transplant in the not so distant future as my thinning hair was more noticeably in my late twenties, that is until I found Fortero and Neo Cell collagen. I recommend this combo over a generic hair nail and skin vitamins and Rogaine because they are effective and work quickly. I think your viewers would really benefit if you conducted a product review. 😊 Keep up the awesome hair tips!

Those waves can be achieved with the GHD RISE hit brush straight up without Blowdrying first - imo
