Jodie Comer opens up about the classism she has experienced in auditions due to her scouse accent in the latest episode of GLAMOUR UNFILTERED, hosted by @joshsmithhosts. The Killing Eve Emmy Award-winning actress reveals she has 'imposter syndrome' and still believes its all, 'going to be taken away. 'Jodie also gets honest about dealing with rejection, 'you may go to 30-40 auditions before you get a yes,' and how she's built her self esteem on her own terms. In her own words, 'I don't want to be anyone's milky cup of tea!' Do you love Jodie as much as us, let us know in the comments below...
GLAMOUR UNFILTERED is our bi-weekly chat show hosted by GLAMOUR's Josh Smith.

The way she’s so shy and humble, but then she also plays villanelle, the character that exudes the MOST daddy energy and confidence i’ve ever seen in my entire life. Its astonishing

hello nikita, yeah, it's called acting!!! 😉 jodie's quite good at it!!! she's so refreshing in interviews compared to almost all other actors who mostly are quite up themselves or else reek of privilege having been through theatre or dance school (this applies more to UK than anywhere else - you know who i mean, the benepatch cumberdicts and daisy ridleys of that world). i was really interested when josh mentioned 'authenticity' and i wish they could have really got into that (only because i'm doing a piece on sartre and heidegger and others about authenticity!) but anyway, jodie is supertalented and seems like one of those people that sort of just 'know' stuff, know about life and the vicissitudes of life. in other words, to go back to josh's point, she seems authentic which is nowadays, quite rare. i love her, she's great and you're right, capable of astonishing transformations in her acting.
