I was born and grew up in Glasgow, graduated in 1961 and got a civil service job at the USAF base hospital as a clerk stenographer with an age waiver (I was 17). I worked in the Flight Surgeons' Office and remember babies being delivered at the hospital at that time. Lots of good memories. The video made me feel like I was riding along with the cameramen.

#13 here . Our channel is mainly outdoors and travel. Beautiful country there. We live in Northern Michigan. We have family in Montana. Lewistown/Roy and Missoula areas. We have drove through Glasgow a couple times. Nice video thx for sharing!

I was stationed at GAFB in the mid 60's. Worked B52 weapons.

I was stationed at Glasgow AFB 65 to 68 lived on base first child born there

@@jonleist8986 lived at 176B Ash Street in 1966 at Glasgow AFB. Daughter born there also. Was raised in Fort Peck.

I was a summer deputy patrolling the Fort Peck area in 1983. It was great fun and inadvertently got to see some naked bodies on patrol at the Pines, on the face of the dam and out along some of the camping areas. Lol 🤣! But it was a good time and I stayed on with the Sheriff's department at the end of the Summer as a jailer until April the next year. Thanks for posting.

I been to Fort Peck stayed at one of the Motels there when I was on the Harvest crew. Popular is wher we Were Harvesting Wheat.

The great muscle man and actor Steve Reeves spent his first ten years in Glasgow MT. But after his father died his mother and he relocated to LA California.

A big help. My son is considering an internship at the dam. But so far away. We are from Pennsylvania. It looks delightful though. He'll need a place to stay for 2-3 months. Any suggestions?

Only problem is winter is too long, and I don't like the cold like I once did. Spent September of 2010 in tioga, nd, waiting on weather for two weeks of cutting wheat.
