Looking at the Rutherglen Hockey club 1914 photo, you can't help wondering how many of them were still around by 1919.

as a kid at secondary school i used to get the easterhouse 421 bus and the barlanark 42 bus to st Gregory's/st andrews school along the old m8 edinburgh rd.

Is the picture at 8.52 (port dundas) with the car crossing the canal, the bridge that leads you to applecross street by chance ?

IT SURE IS. IVE WALKED ACROSS THE BRIDGE MANY A TIME IN MY 57YR STAYING IN POSSIL

@@PETERGRIFFIN21380 MY GRAN WAS BORN ON ELLESMERE ST/ AUCKLAND ST 1912.. I MOVED INTO CALDARVAN ST IN 88 WHEN I GOT MARRIED. UP LAMBHILL NOW. HAMMYHILL HAS CHANGED SO MUCH
