This video of Aspire32 explains the Metal Modified Glass Ionomer cement, sometimes called as Miracle mix or Cermet for easy dentistry. Its a modification of Glass Ionomer Cement. Metal Reinforced GIC has amalgam alloy in its powder and hence its increases the strength of the restoration. The series also covers Resin modified GIC and Command set GIC too. Its not the best for class 2. Composite , amalgam or cast Restorations are better

Composite is better for class 2. If everything is done properly thej composite life is around 5 to 10 years
