Glass top stove at my home literally bursted into pieces while I was cooking after two years of purchase. I never used to keep hot things on glass top but one day it gave up I also suggest people please buy stainless steel gas stove

Very informative video... I have been using my prestige glass top for last 9years without any issue.. And I keep all big party vessels also as i mostly have guests at my place... but i guess it all depends on the quality.. my mom bought it 2years back and it blasted within 4months and not even roughly used.. So i would definitely say i got lucky regarding quality wise.. Because i even used to clean when the glass was hot if there was a spill.. So please would always suggest to go for steel tops.. As all the recent once in market the quality has reduced.. Cant take risk with our lives as we ladies spent half of our life in kitchen.. Hope i was helpful..

Hi!..nice that you have done a proper research before buying a cook top. I also agree that steel gas top is better than glass top. I will share my experience- I bought a glass hob with 4 burners by a very renowned brand Kaff in 2015. Not only the glass thichness matters but we should check the maintenance cost also from the sales person before buying any appliance. The glass quality is very good but I have got fed up with the burners. The burners are having tendancy of bending. And each burner is devided inb3 parts and every part has different price. It is very costly. Till now 2 times I had to replace the burners inspite of taking a good care of them. And it put high burden on my pocket. I have purchased my hob in 30,000/- and in 3 yrs I spent around 10,000/- to repair them including service charges. It is really frustating and now I m also going to buy a simple steel gas stove.

Aap bilkul sahi keh rahe hain mam. Maine 2 years pehele prestige ka glass stove lia tha. Ek din achanak se burst hogaya. Thank god uss time kitchen mein koi tha nai. It is very dangerous. Bus uss din ke baad se maine decide kar lia ke kabi glass top stove nai lungi.

Ila and .shreya 697..I hav same experience as u ...hamare yaha bhi kuch saal pahle wen glass top kitchen stoves was new in market..uspar koi instruction nahi the..aur ek din bati banane k liye i keep gas tandoor on it..n it burst out very badly..mai aur mere husband dono wahi paas me khade the..but only god save us that day....so ye video bahot jaruri tha..thanks ila for sharing this video..ur gas top is nice..i hav 3 burner one ..ofcourse only and only of stainless steel...😊

@@herfabway same happened with my bhabi and her son . She was cooking in cooker and it burst out suddenly , the hot curry spilled on My bhabi and Thank God It didnt spill on My Nephew. It's very dangerous guys. Don't buy Glass top stove..and ya this one also Of prestige and Gilma one Apne aap toot gaya.

I am using prestige glass cooktop with Scott toughened glass since past 3.5 years ..hot tea n water has spilled many times on glass, till now we have not faced any such issue, however we do not use big vessels on stove

Exactly that is why I brought this same prestige Royal plus 4 burner gas cooktop.. Because they claim to have Scott glass and also sabaf Italian gas valves ... I was more inclined towards the faber onyx series and even went ahead with the elica vetro ct 694 series but changed my decision to buy prestige.. Now let's see how it goes....

My glass gastove blasted and the tiny particles blew every corner, luckily a sec before I moved into another room. Had I been present at that moment, the particles must have surely gone inside my body. The force with which it blasted was really terrible. Pls don't buy a glass one.

If u have already purchased one. Do strictly follow the rules given. Don't use it for baking. Don't clean it while it's hot. Remove the dish asap... once cooked. Etc.

Thanks for your tips. Main aaj apki pahali bar vlog dekhe rahi hu.pichle 3 day main ek purana stainless steel ki 2 Barnar hai. To main soch rahi thi ke purana exchanges karke new glass stove perches korugi fir to main prestige ka shop me giya tha. Par cost jada tha hi, market pe jo price hai, usse vi jada tha. Exchange ke bad vi . aisa hai prestige meri purana gas stove koi price se char nahi hai.

I am using Glass top stove and using it since 10 years and till today I have no problem which you mentioned in your video... and it is not tooo costly also...I also used steel gas stove which gets hot equally and we have to take same precautions after using... I do not think any difference between glass top stove and steel top stove...

Agreed. But there is no risk of stove burst in the steel one. Also, there is a huge difference in the quality of the glass top gas stoves sold in the market today. Have a look at the link given in the description and even the comments of this video, you will understand the risk it’s associated with. 😊

If it’s in warranty, you can contact the company. If not, go for stainless steel stove.
