Glasskube - New package manager for Kubernetes?

5 ай бұрынGlasskube aims to be the missing package manager for your Kubernetes cluster. In this video, I walkthrough glasskube for the first time including a demo where I install cert-manager and nginx-ingress package from glasskube and then run a simple nginx app. I also share my views and some of the things I would like to see.

Thanks for the hands on tutorial and your Feedback. Updates are definitely an important task on our roadmap. As if now all updates happen automatically via our central package repository. Version pinning is something that is on our roadmap. Would you prefer automatic or manual updates? Should this be something we ask the user during the install of a package?

Automatic updates are fine if they are not breaking any functionality, otherwise lets provide user with option to update or let them choose fi they want automatic or manual. when we do glasskubelist, it can have another field with it can show update available.

@@glasskube How can we add this video to the glasskuberepo as resources to learn from. Being the first video created on youtube about glasskube, would be great if. you can amplify in your netowkr as well.

This video was incredibly informative! GlassKube seems like a very interesting project. I was wondering if there's any possibility of GlassKube becoming a CNCF project?

Might be in future....If they need rapid development then I think that route would be a better route.
