My first festival was Henge '82. Then we thought we would hop the fence of Glastonbury '83. After Stonehenge in 82 Glastonbury felt like yer Nan's idea of a festival. Cucumber sarnies with the crusts cut off and dirty looks from someone dressed as a fairy when we shouted "Drugs for Thugs! Cheeeeeemical breakfasts!" We went back to the Henge after that and felt much more comfortable... Then in 85, the Battle of the Bean field ☹️

Comments full of people being negative, like being asked very politely for your tickets by multiple people is a big deal. Security is high because 10 people register for every 1 ticket sold and in the past the crowd got dangerously big due to fence hoppers. Still think they give you more value for money than any other concert or festival, I'm glad its hard to get in because then everyone really wants to be there, at the best party on the planet. OP sounds nice, they know!
