clayscapes coastal Blue is a fantastic glaze, although it's a little runny it looks amazing on white and red clay on top of that it is a fantastic catalyst for super runny drippy glazes. I truly don't know why more people are not using clayscapes glazes for amount of glaze you get for the price. especially if you're a studio owner $100 would buy you a large amount of glaze even if you're not using a 5 gallon bucket.

A lot of the glazes at my college, SUNY Oswego, were from Clayscapes because they were local, Syracuse, NY hence names like Lake Effect White.

Why why why???!!!! I like/love so many glazes but this one literally made me buy it before the video was over!!!!! So I officially hate you right now because I had just told myself no more buying glazes for at least 6 months!!! Because I totally have enough and am running out of room!!!! Seriously tho... thanks for these glaze reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up.

Coastal Blue is my favorite glaze from Clayscapes. I bought 10 pounds of it and it is my go to glaze for anything with texture. Try it on your black clay too it's AMAZING!!!

We have this color at the studio I go to and it is always a favorite! But I have to admit I’ve not seen in its own on a dark clay body. Folks always mix it with something. Love these reviews!!

As a longtime fan of Your work and videos I have to take note of a trivial thing that made me worry - In Finland we can have glazes in powder or wet form but mostly for the reasons You make about the price of water differences I buy the powder. When I open the bag of glaze I hold the bag opening under the water (that I measured to the bucket first) and open it under the water and let the glaze fall in the water while I still hold the bag opening under so there be no glaze powder in the air - I know You do have protection mask on when You make glazes but that made me feel bad. This may be because I find using masks taking time and there be glaze powder in the room air still I hope this may be a practical thing to try

You could buy more 5 gal buckets and mix up more glazed.

I like the 4 marks on the cup. do you think if you slowed down the cool down on the kiln that you would get the crystal flares? It's a little like abalone for a recipe. Is is more like a tenemoku rabbit fur or a Chun?

You add background music that plays while you are talking (a youtube recommended thing, I realize) but the rain makes you crazy? Hope you went out and splashed in the puddles. Thanks for the video, I like it on the red clay best. Have a wonderful weekend.

It's not the sound of the rain it's the blocking of light the rain clouds produce. I like natural light for my videos

Well I'm sorry I'm one of the drippy Etsy-ish people making drippy mugs😢 but it's what I like! And I still never have drippy mugs at home because my friends keep stealing them. .... Onanother note: this glaze is gorgeous. Ab so lu te ly gorgeous. And of coooouuuurse not in the EU. Argh.
