After one of my quick glimpses, I noticed one team had a dash next to their score, a zero, and was confused, because negative zeros don’t exist (that I know of). I asked my coworker how a team could possibly have negative 0 points; perhaps it was a football thing specifically? Maybe that’s what penalties show up as, or something? She snorted and looked at me and said, “babe, that’s not a negative sign, that’s a football. And it means that that team has the ball.” I was obviously embarrassed but started crackin tf up about it, and she did too, and we went on to enjoy the rest of the dead work night. The only reason I’m telling you this, stranger, is to give you some type of frame of reference for when I say, u dumb fuckin ignoramus, even I know there’s a fuckin kicker in football lmfao.

I’m actually getting so sad watching naya and remembering that she’s gone. Her death was so shocking and preventable and senseless and just heartbreaking. And her son watching it happen, I can’t imagine how traumatizing that was. And she was so talented, just naturally funny and charming and died so young

This show had -10 knowledge of how wheelchairs work and I laugh every time. Just stuff as simple as Quinn, who is presumed to only be temporarily paralysed, has a fully custom wheelchair rather than some random hospital one.

And it was ridiculously popular!!! The covers were on the billboard top 100 I believe and they actually went on tour following the show. The grasp this show had on the culture back when it first aired was crazy. Looking back at it now it’s surprising that such a campy and outrageous show was received well by the general public. It had its questionable moments but the comedy was one of a kind lmao
