I highly respected Quinn's answer, she saw the BIGGER PICTURE for Rachel, she truly cared about her and knows that YOU come first (especially when you're achieving your goals). She realized all the things she overcame, teen pregnancy, getting kicked out of her parents house, giving up Beth for adoption, trying to keep up in school, while being in Glee club & Cheerios etc etc. and finally HER getting accepted into Yale all on her OWN. I missed the Rachel Berry from the earlier seasons who was more focus on her dreams than a boy. But that changed in season 3 because she seemed to care about finn more. So this makes me really sad and happy because Rachel’s seem to have forgotten what she's wanted her entire life but Quinn’s there to remind Rachel of what she's always wanted. To be on Broadway and go college, not get married while in high school.

This is why every Faberry shippers got an idea why theyd work as a couple. They brought out the best in each other. I wished glee had done more for this duo.

Teenage pregnancy is flying over the globe and it's not an unusual thing. Why do you think it happened? Because people are too fast. It's not our fault that we were too naive or just innocent. I mean, who's job was to tell you about it? I'll leave you to it. Now focusing again, based on my observation, DATING is different from MARRYING a person. Just because you say you love them very, very much and that person is what you think is the one, doesn't mean you have to marry them right away. Let this remind you who bore you first; your parents. Why do you think you went to school? To learn, find a decent job, and become independent. Why do you think some parents are too controlling or just don't side you with everything you want? Because they've "Been there, done that." Look, I know not everybody is the same, because who we are depends on how we grew up and how we were raised. But don't jump right away into ideas that you have to get married because that person is the one, let's back off a little bit. If you both truly love each other, why hurry? Why are you worried he/she will find another? Why the doubt? If he/she truly loves you and you truly love him/her, then we have to learn to wait. There is a reason why in story books and novels, there is always a task to be done. Words does not equal to Actions. You not only have to talk the talk, but you have to walk the walk. People can be very secretive and fool you easily, that's why a lot got divorced or annulled because they couldn't handle their real significant other. Not every thing, person, or time is fairy tale magic. So be careful who you're with because there are things that are just for show but it's not the truth.

Rachel deserved someone better than Finn tbh. She deserved someone like Quinn honestly. If Quinn or Rachel would have dated hypothetically, they would’ve helped each other grow and encourage each other because they’re both just as ambitious and headstrong. They would’ve wanted that for each other. That’s the only healthy high-school-college relationship there is.

Quinn's advice is right tho. Rachel and Finn are the love of each other's lives but the reason that Finn let Rachel go to be a star in New York is because Rachel has always wanted a life bigger than him and Ohio. If Finn and Rachel had got back together (if Cory hadn't passed away and did the show), at some point I think they would have lost themselves in sacrifice for each other's lifestyle. Rachel and Finn definitely wanted different lives with different outcomes. Even without Finn(and Cory's) untimely passing I think Jesse and Rachel were meant to be together, the ultimately shared and understood each other's goals in a way Finn could not. I genuinely think Finn and Rachel were at their best in high school. They would have always loved each other but Rachel's goals and ambitions and Finn's ideal of how he wanted to live would have inevitably clashed.

Watching this now that I'm older, I understand both parts. Quinn is right on telling Rachel she shouldn't lose focus on her dreams and her future 'cause she was seeing the bigger picture. And Rachel on knowing that Finn was her person... We all know time gave Quinn the reason at some point, but I also think that Rachel wasn't losing focus for a guy, she just put him inside the already existing dreams of her future, if that make any sense.

A cousin of my dad got married in high school. 40 or 50 years later, they're still together and are still happy. They don't have kids but that's because they decided not to have kids. My point is, some high school relationships fail, some succeed, and some have no effect on the success or failure of the future whatsoever.

Honestly I would of told Rachel to stay engaged and go to college, and THEN get married! In reality there are people who marry while in college and live together and their lives go on. I think quinn made a good point, it is a better idea for women and men to have themselves first, i know finding the balance of career and love is difficult but i want me first, unless if you are able to have a supportive spouse who has the same goals as you and unless you guys are already adults when you start dating for high school relationships id just say take a break, go to your dream school, get settled in your dream career and then focus on love and family, im glad i didnt stay with any of the people i dated in high school, adult relationships can be and mostly are better and more solid than high school relationships, there is a big world out there, dont waste your time in your small town and not experience it.

If you have found “the one” don’t let them go because at the end of the day you will want that special someone to come home to you and enjoy a family with that person. I married my first love and I look forward to growing old with him. This world offers nothing that causes lasting happiness, so after you have achieved your “dream” you will realize the most important thing is love.
