We really see a softer side of Sue in this episode and that's good character development

This one moment as a child when watching this I never knew years later, when my brother died of heroin overdose, I'd come back to this speech to hear these words and understand the deeper and truer meaning of this speech. Never will I be the same.

I absolutely bawled like a baby at this episode when it came out. Not gonna like this poked my right in the old heartstring

I feel really bad for sue and everything she went through. I know what it’s like to loose a loved one or more, my only grandfather from my mother’s side of the family passed away four months ago and it really broke my heart ♥️

It reminds me of my grandmother’s funeral when she passed away 2 years ago so that news broke my heart

This episode was when glee made me tear up for the first time (and not just because Sue is an atrocious person). When I saw this episode in commemoration of Ohio's statehood I actually felt bad for her for the first time and it made me well up. RIP Jean Sylvester (?-2011) :'(
