I’m nearing the end of my life and every time I listen to this song I’m reminded of my youth. Mom and dad were alive and my brothers and sister were living at home. I feel like I was born at the right time. To the future I say this. “ Enjoy the music my generation left you”.

I am 83 and retired 20 ago after several million miles as a trucker music was my favorite , raised in Detroit by a country couple from KY I still fell in love with motown an rock & roll and country music , Glen Campbell was the best of the best he could make a great singer and one of the best musicians, he played back up for so many groups.

Depending on your age and circumstances it was. I was born in 1960....AM radio, small 45s on the record player. Simpler TV shows like F Troop and Gilligan’s Island. There was room to be a kid without outside interference. The 70’s was a turning point with drugs and harsher sounds.
