Something most people probably don't realize is that the best thing about Glen Campbell is the immaculateness of his *albums*. Not just one or two of them - no, all of them. The tunes he selects (or "his producer" selects) are ALL hit-worthy. He takes his time. Any of his albums you can listen to over and over and over - timeless music every time. This was an album cut, for example. "The Moon's a Harsh Mistress" was an album cut. He always does at least 1 Jimmy Webb tune, so there you go. : )

@musikgirl1 the host is gary chapman, who at the time was married to amy grant. there is a live version by amy on youtube....also a wonderful version by nanci griffith.

Amy Grant's version of this is much slower with just her voice, piano and cello, I think. Very moving.
