He was in the movie "The Commitments" which I watched for the first time. Was thrilled to see him in it. But glad he makes his own music. He's so passionate. Can't wait to see him live in November.

Glen always has a way of making the simple sound great. Solid vocals and song writing ' to cry for '. Love this slightly modified version! Cool custom guitar tuning to create that wonderful lush open E sound!

Esra Delibaş that would be from the original Frames version. The lyrics get mixed around between the Frames version and the solo version.

Sat in the front row twice to see swell season, caught G. Hansard's sweat. Regardless of their fame they remain humble and greatful. ONCE @Newport Folk Festival security tried to whisk audience away from foot of stage. Hansard said "let them stay". I was impressed. Very down to earth and grateful to life and fans it seems. Check out Utube "song for someone", he will make you cry in a good way. They are amazing!!!! Let me know what u think.
