The Summer of my youth. I remember where i was when this launched. I remember catching Taxis to Southgate Musica to go get the CD. I remember after i got my license and the first long distance trip to Cape Town in the Microbus 2.6i with my father sitting at the back enjoying the Music. Fond memories indeed.

After Matric in 1999 I was playing this on a daily basis at home while reading The Star newspaper on Wednesdays looking for jobs. Glen Lewis ruled the country with his Midtempo, nobody did it better than him. The bassline of these songs is so insane

@@sivuyilecelu1876 I've been an avid collector my whole life, the excruciating lengths I have to go to get new great music is insane. And I'm a guy who knows all the tricks, I know Russian, Ukrainian websites, forums you name it. They basically make you a crazy person or you'll simply not get the music. I make sure to download everything coz that streaming nonsense be having 4min tracks that are suposed to be 7minutes or missing other songs due to licensing issues. So I fully understand why you'd say fukk it and just stick to what you know

I need to be honest, I believed the hype of the beef between metro and yfm in the late 90s, early 2000s. This beef climaxed between Fresh and Glen Lewis.I stuck with fresh and yfm,I liked 45bpm's but I prefered the other 1s in the market then (45 bpm The Heavy Dee Krew). I only warmed up to Glenzo when Fresh left yfm. This album is the greatest from his compilations. Glen is 1 of our biggest musical maestros
