I interviewed Glen's Vodka Scottish Premiership Manager of the Season, Derek McInnes. What a job he's done at Kilmarnock! They'll be playing Europa League football next season! #football #soccer #scotland

As someone who only watches Scottish football via this channel, Killy’s manager seems to have a humility I’ve rarely seen in sports, and his connection with the fans is something all coaches should strive for, wishing them good luck in Europe!

I’m dons fan and I didn’t want to see him leave us because knew his qualities as a manager. We’ve been a mess manager wise since. It’s no wonder Killie look a more stable and hard working team. Fair play to Derek for going again. Top manager at this level

Always liked McInnes, i still think that, had he went to rangers, he'd have squared them away and got them up and running much earlier.

@jeffreysmith628014 күн бұрын
No surprise that he has been successful with Kilmarnock. At Aberdeen, the club was effectively run by him and the players bought into what he wanted to do. He maybe lacked the confidence to go after the Old Firm teams and was too defensive. It would have been interesting to see where Aberdeen would have been had he seen eye to eye with the new owner. But then again, he may have been stale after 8 years.

Hi Sam are you going to the Raith game tonight?
@itellyouwhy695714 күн бұрын
I would have liked Rangers to have appointed Del instead of Big Phil. Said it at the time and I hope Del gets the gig next time round. He is tailor-made for Rangers IMO. He finds good players on a small budget everywhere he's been and he isn't afraid to put the good kids in allowing them to shine and show themselves. He speaks well and has the presence of a proper manager.
@kirstiecurling33514 күн бұрын
Another good video as always but being a pedant, your opening graphic declaring him ‘best manager in Scotland’ is wrong. He is deservedly the best manager in the SPL and has worked wonders at Killie but the Best Manager in Scotland award actually went to John McGlynn after the incredible job he did of turning things round at Falkirk, going unbeaten in the league all season 🙂
