We finally got out of the city on this trip and spent the day touring the gorgeous landscapes & smaller towns and villages south of Dublin. From historic churches in Glendalough, to the Wicklow mountains, to Celtic ruins on the way to Kilkenny, this day was -- in a word -- unforgettable.

We definitely felt a strong connection to nature (and potential ancestry) up there. Possibly more so than any other place we visited.

i never made it to rural ireland. i'm guessing youve never seen an episode of Father Ted..... that was enough to put me off. 😂😂

@@qlctravels I'm sure there's got to be full episodes available on KZfaq, if not it's definitely on the free UK and Ireland streaming platform for Channel 4 programming. It's one of the best sitcoms of all time..... And think of the competition in that genre. Friends, Seinfeld, the Office, Curb your Enthusiasm, Cheers and Frasier..... All fantastic sitcoms, but nothing compared to Father Ted. You have to binge on episodes. They're only 22-25 minutes per episode. Upload a reaction video of you both watching it for the first time. Watch the subscriber numbers sky rocket. You can thank me later when your channel blows up haha
