It's not a solo piece. Why would he memorize it? One would assume he played chamber music, when he did, from a score.

orchboy that’s the regular practice but Gould also memorized almost all of his chamber music.

Glenn told me that he wanted to bring his Casio electrical harpsichord in for this one but it had apparently slid off of a cooler into the Hudesson's Bay ...of all places
