Glenn Morrison - Mastering a 90s Trance Classic - Space Brothers - Shine

Shine was written in 1996 after 2 great weeks in Ibiza. The tempo in Logic is 134.8670 - there is a logic file included.
The vocals are raw, they were recorded with Jo Law holding an SM58 onto tape, there is lots of drop ins (we only had 4 tracks).
I have put the MIDI files in, and cleaned the vox a bit.

90s trance was just unreal i still listen to the classics todays trance a very small amount i would listen to. nothing compares to this type of classic trance

Ill say what should be said, the 90's decade was awesome to have lived through, the clubs, the scene and the in club love, was like our version of woodstock - like I was there I lived it and being smashed on exctasy in a great trance club was spiritual - Ill never forget the feeling and this tune ws a belter

@@BobsBand I can, because I used everything we had! The lead is a Novation Bass Station layered with a Juno 1. The Pads are a JD1080 and Vintage Keys. The Goa type acid bass is a 106. There’s a bit of Jupiter 6 and MKS-80. Akai 3200 for the vox (all triggered, no tape) and a Atari 1080.

Still prefer the semi analog unmastered versions of most late 80's early 90's tracks.. sometimes it's the rawness that gives them the edge...2 cents
