The Lineage of the Panchen and Dalai Lamas of Tibet incorporated the transmission from Milarepa and Gampopa known as Chakchen De Nga, or "Five Features of the Mahamudra Training." Here, mahamudra is a Sanskrit term, with maha meaning "great" and mudra meaning "stamp" or "seal." The sense of the statement is that the practitioner trains his or her mind in the act of stamping every moment of experience with the universal mystical qualities of bliss and emptiness. This is not an abstract tradition, but a precise method of resting awareness in these universal "wisdoms." The weekend sessions alternate between instruction and guided meditations. Part 1 of 6. You may view the entire series on our KZfaq homepage under "Featured Playlists."
