In the beginning of each concert there is an intro, before she starts with the song Running. On my channel, I have put the english translation of that intro in the descriptions of the Intro en Running videos. She still cannot talk about what happened exactly at that supermarket, but she said what she could. Including the indescribable hate she has gotten, that almost broke her. That her side of the story doesn't get a fair chance. That hate is not new however. She has been fighting racism and any kind of injuctice for a long time. And has paid the price for it. For years she has gotten lots of hate, threaths and even death threats. Us as fans have gotten our fair share of hate and threats too, but nowhere near as much as her. It seems as though they are taking advantage of a mistake she has made, which she has apologized for already many times and she has to appear in court for it. But they seem to smell her blood and have wanted to ruin her for years already. There has been a lot of hate for years, but since the incident almost 6 months ago, it has intensified. But, more importantly, the more hate we saw and got, the more love we wanted to give. The mutual love between GG and her fans was felt so much and also the love between fans. Hate messages actually were the reason for fans to come together and love and support each other. It's up to the judge to decide, not the people. We may not agree with her choices or actions, but we have seen her beautiful heart many times. One mistake doesn't make her a bad person. I hope people will show some extra love to her and her fans. After all the hate, threats and even death threats. She is not a mass murderer, yet she is being treated as one. Please leave the judging to the judges. Recently, it became clear that refugees were having to sleep outside and there was a lack of everything at the place they have to register. Hundreds of people were sleeping outside. Doctors without borders even stepped in and had to treat people due to lack of hygiene and care. Glennis and her friends wanted to help and contacted organisations helping there to ask what they needed. They got a list and she and her friends asked for those items and had 7 cars full of those items they were able to bring. Other organisations weren't aware of the contact they had had with other organisations and were acting like they stepped on their toes. A volunteer seemed insulted that they came to help, when she'd been there for a week. She barked that at them. In the end, the same gossip and extreme right media twisted it so that Glennis got a lot of hate again. They said that she did it for attention, or to seem good again, and that they didn't ask first, whcih they did. That they brought junk and were in the way of the organisations helping. Glennis herself posted that the refugees were really happy with their help. And that is what matters to her. Unbelieveable that they asked organisations what they needed, they delivered just that and she got mostly hate. No matter what she does, they are brutally slamming her.

@@GivenToe She can make any song her own as she wants to. Search her, she is all over KZfaq. But when it comes to miss Houston, her great idol, she chooses to stay as close as possible to the original, because ms Houston was the reason that she started to sing and perform at nine years old. Please don’t advice a 43 years old woman who wrote more songs than Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Whitney Houston all together, to find her own identity. But her native language is Dutch and of course American people are not interested in those ballads. Trust me, there is a world outside the US.
